About Daniel

I'm a data engineer based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

I studied Information Management at the University of Johannesburg and work as a Data Engineering Intern at Wits Enterprise.

Outside of work I build software to understand data systems, machine learning and distributed computing more directly.

I'm interested in working from first principles: building the system myself, and writing down what it taught me.
